Episode 100!

100 year old camera image

One, Two, skip a few 99 100! Episode 100 that is… so what was the photography scene like 100 years ago? It was pretty interesting…

My Great-Great-Great Uncle took this photo in the early 1900’s, it had not been out of the frame for over 100 years and this was the condition! Once I digitized and duplicated it, back into the frame it went for another 100 years! Since colour film didn’t exist yet, this was a “tinted or toned” photo.

Larry shot his Brownie Brownie 2A Model C and tells us about his about his experience. His camera is 116 he adapted a roll of xp2 and shot the roll.

Sounds like there were some challenges, but overall is was it gave some very nice images. You can hear all about it on our podcast!
